digital photography is photography using a digital camera.

digital art are pictures that were created digitally. like one example is to take bits and pieces of photographs to make one picture. it can be partially photography…but it’s far more edited and manipulated.

For digital photography a digital camera is needed. Digital art can be created by the use of softwares only, designed for that purpose .
Digital art also encompasses ”mixed media”, a blend of digital or digitised photo and digital art created by software.
………and what about the term”photo art”. Think!

There is definitely a difference between digital photography and digital art.

Digital photography is only photography taken with a digital camera. This does not include photographs that are edited, unless the editing is minimal.

Digital art is a much broader category. Digital art not only includes photographs that are edited, manipulated, or collaged in an editing program, but also art that is done completely on a computer. Digital art does not necessarily imply the use of photographs. For example, digital art can be done completely on the computer by hand, through the use of tools like a tablet and computer programs.
