what is a good book on photography for use with a Kodak Easy Share digital camera?

I am really interested in improving my photography skills. I am basically a beginner but i do know some. I would like a book that can help me to understand digital photography and the different functions and equipment availible and thier uses.

My favorite favorite book is National Geographic’s Digital Photography Field Guide. It gives you all kinds of tips. I’ve worn out my copy. You can get it really cheap.
